These Red U-Bolt Wire Rope Clips are perhaps the most used clips in the industry! 

These fittings, also known as cable clamps, are used to clamp the loose end of the wire rope once it has been looped back (around a thimble) to form an eye. (see video below).

The right way to use wire rope clips is to remember: “Never saddle a dead horse.”  The U Bolt must bear on the dead end.

• All Clips are individually bagged or tagged with proper application instructions and warning information.
• Each base has a Product Identification Code (PIC) for material traceability, the name CROSBY or CG, and a size forged into it.
• Entire Clip is Galvanized to resist corrosive and rusting action.
• Sizes 1/8” through 2-1/2” and 3” have forged bases.
• Clip sizes up through 1-1/2” have rolled threads.
• Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26
